MIKE ROMA

MIKE ROMA is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles, where he earned a BA in Film and Television Production from USC's School of Cinematic Arts. Queer and from New Jersey, Roma is passionate about sharp, political storytelling that still makes you LOL.
Upon graduation, he wrote and directed DANNY THE MANNY, which Indiewire named one of the Best Web Series of 2016. The following year, Roma premiered his debut feature film DATING MY MOTHER at Frameline Film Festival. In 2019, his pilot script F*CKBOYS was developed at the Screenwriters Colony. His latest project THE D*CK APPOINTMENT is an official short selection at Outfest 2020. In addition to his work as a writer and director, Roma works as a video editor for various digital platforms, such as Snap, Live Nation, and ATTN promoting social change and the occasional woke cleaning product. |
